About the Esther Funds Foundation 2K Walk
Since its founding in 2023, the Esther Funds Foundation (EFF) has grown into a national nonprofit dedicated to one mission — helping students stay in college. Through emergency financial aid, scholarships, and student retention programming, EFF is committed to supporting the students who are most at risk of dropping out due to financial hardship.
This fall, Esther Funds Foundation will host the inaugural Esther Funds Foundation 2K Walk on Saturday, October 4, 2025 — a virtual, nationwide event designed to raise awareness and funding for students in crisis. Participants across the country will walk 2 kilometers (1.24 miles) to stand in the gap for students facing unpaid tuition balances and unexpected financial emergencies.
This year’s walk will raise $10,000 to begin distributing emergency aid and balance relief to students starting in January 2026.
The walk will also be held in honor of a student or leader whose story reflects the heart of our mission — someone who embodies perseverance, restoration, and the power of education to transform lives.
The Esther Funds Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit led by students and professionals who believe no one should have to walk away from college due to a balance. Through national campaigns, campus chapters, and donor support, EFF is creating a culture of retention, advocacy, and access in higher education.
