Meet Shayna Vincent, the visionary founder of Esther Funds Foundation.
Shayna Vincent, a college student hailing from Tampa, Florida, is currently pursuing a major in Elementary Education at Florida A&M University. Alongside her academic pursuits, Shayna is a published author and has aspirations of becoming a school teacher, with a strong desire to make a significant impact in the field of education.
As a proud member of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Shayna embodies the values of leadership, service, and academic excellence. However, her journey to where she is today has been marked by challenges and obstacles. Throughout high school, Shayna faced difficulties and lacked the necessary guidance to navigate the transition to college, resulting in multiple instances of dropping out.
It was through her own struggles and experiences that Shayna developed a profound empathy for other college students facing similar challenges. Determined to make a difference, she founded Esther Funds Foundation with the mission of helping students graduate and achieve their career aspirations. Shayna firmly believes that by supporting students in their educational journey, not only are individual lives transformed, but the economy also benefits from a more skilled and educated workforce.
Driven by her passion for social change, Shayna has coined the phrase "Break Dropout Trends," which encapsulates her vision of spreading awareness and empowering students to persevere in their pursuit of higher education. With an Associate's Degree from Hillsborough Community College under her belt, Shayna is a living testament to the transformative power of education.
Shayna's ultimate goal is to change the world, one college student at a time, by providing the support and resources they need to succeed. Through Esther Funds Foundation, she hopes to inspire a generation of students to overcome obstacles, fulfill their potential, and never give up on their dreams.
